11.9Pagination and memory

Current MuleSoft documentation notes that Bulk API v2 query-result retrieval supports paging and that page size affects both API call count and memory usage. The connector can automatically retrieve the pages.

This is a very important engineering tradeoff:

larger pages
→ fewer requests
→ more memory per page

smaller pages
→ more requests
→ less memory pressure

Don't answer:

“Always use the largest page size.”

Think in tradeoffs.
