If you send:

500 requests/sec

and Mule happily accepts them while Salesforce gets destroyed, that's not a successful performance test.

Monitor:

Mule CPU/memory

Mule errors

Salesforce API usage

Salesforce locking

queue depth

downstream latency

Integration performance is end-to-end capacity.
