12.39Idempotency and side effects

Suppose flow does:

Upsert Account
 ↓
Send welcome email

Retrying flow:

Account remains one record

but:

email gets sent twice

So the flow is still not fully idempotent.

This is critical.

You must evaluate every side effect.
