11.42Batch Jobs are asynchronous
An important behavioral point:
A Batch Job is naturally asynchronous in relation to the flow that launches it.
Think:
Scheduler/API
↓
start batch
↓
batch runs independently
That makes it inappropriate when the client expects:
“process 500k records and return the final results now”
Use the async/status pattern we covered in Module 10.
