A Process API implements business orchestration.

Example business requirement:

Build a customer profile using Salesforce, billing, and loyalty data.

Architecture:

The Process API decides:

which systems to call
in what order
how to combine data
what business rules apply
what happens on partial failures

This is where orchestration typically lives.
